Benelux Café is a welcoming neighborhood café in Raleigh where European café culture meets Latino warmth. From handcrafted coffees and teas to Belgian waffles and community gatherings, every detail is made to help people connect, work, and feel at home. Benelux is proudly owned by Viva Coffee and led by Leonor Clavijo, a Colombian entrepreneur who has called Raleigh home for over 20 years. Her passion for community, culture, and entrepreneurship helped shape Benelux into more than a café a place where conversations, ideas, and people come together. At Benelux, you’ll always find good coffee, good people, and a space that feels welcoming.

Very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The coffee is always so wonderful. The cortado's I order always taste chocolatey, even the decaf. The atmosphere is open, and has space to grow. Every drink has always had lovely latte art as well. Overall amazing experience.

I recently discovered Benelux Caffee, which also goes by El Barista, and it has quickly become my absolute favorite spot! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the most wonderful and friendly staff. They truly make the experience special. The quality here is top-notch. Every drink is prepared with care and skill. I ordered a latte, and it was perfection – the milk was beautifully foamy and steamed to the exact right temperature. It's clear they know what they're doing! On top of that, I tried the bagel with egg, cheese, and turkey. It was served warm and was perfectly toasty without being overdone, exactly how I love it. What really makes this place shine is the incredible staff. They are happy to customize any drink to your liking, and if you're not sure what to get, the baristas give excellent recommendations. The atmosphere is perfect for any season or reason. It’s a fantastic place to grab a refreshing iced drink during the summer or a comforting hot beverage to warm up in the winter. It’s ideal for catching up with friends or for settling in with your laptop to get some work done. I can't recommend Benelux Caffee enough. You won't be disappointed!

I have stopped here twice so far. The first time I ordered a simple traditional hot chocolate, it was perfect. The second time I ordered a chia latte and a lemon poppy seed muffin, and I could not have asked for a better start to my day. I'll be back.
